About Donna






Donna has over 27 years of experience in market development and alliances in the high tech industry. She began her career at IBM, serving there for 12 years in a variety of sales and marketing management roles including Software Business Unit Executive and Channel Marketing Manager – Europe for the Networking Software Division. She was recruited to Seer Technologies (now Level 8) where she served as VP of Channel Development. Subsequently, Donna served as VP of Business Development for Plurimus, an internet startup, before starting her own business development consulting business – Peek Performance, where she provided market definition and business development consulting to LiveWire Logic, a web-based self-service company (now a division of Astute Solutions).

Currently, Donna is Senior Program Manager at SAS Institute, responsible for managing SAS’ Path to Market program – for qualifying, approving and executing strategic partner initiatives. Donna joined SAS’ Global Alliance Division in 2002, and served as Global Alliance Manager for Computer Sciences Corporation and Amdocs, prior to assuming her current role.

Donna has been a guest instructor for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED)’s FastTrac Tech classes and has also been a guest lecturer on alliances at UNC Law School’s course on Entrepreneurial Finance and North Carolina Central University’s course on Entrepreneurship. Donna has also published articles on alliance management for the Kauffman Foundation's entrepreneurship.org website.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University. Donna holds the Certified Strategic Alliance Professional (CSAP) designation conferred by the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) and is a founding board member of the RTP/Carolinas chapter of ASAP.
